ICT
This course will prepare the student for the next stage of the education tier; University. By the end of this course, the student will be able to become competent and confident users who can use the basic knowledge and skills acquired to assist them in their daily lives in the university and eventually the workplace.
Personal hygiene
After going through this course the student will be able to know how to take care of their body, and surroundings, and how to protect themselves from diseases/germs, It will make them feel extra confident of themselves, have a positive effect on social life, physical and mental health. This course will make them understand the need to be aware of their hygiene to limit the possibility of illness or disease.
Cooking
This course is designed to teach the student the basic requirements to nourish their body in a healthy way and not rely solely on junk food 24/7 which is unhealthy for the body and can cause obesity, diabetes, and other diseases resulting from eating processed foods where they can’t control the number of seasonings especially salt which leads to heart complications. The student by the end of this course will be able to cook 10 meals that can help them throughout their lives and build on the knowledge and skills learned in this program. This cooking skill will help them save money by avoiding spending a lot on takeouts.
Grooming
it is important for everyone. it is the art of taking care of one’s self from the top of head to their feet. By the end of this course, the students would know the basic format of taking care of themselves, to learn how to dress, know when to trim their nails, and go for a pedicure & manicure. This knowledge teaches them to boost their self-confidence and to step out into the world with healthy self-esteem. It teaches them the right way to dress up in the professional workplace. Being well-groomed gives makes them look presentable and others will have no choice but to respect them. It will put a spotlight on the effort they take to showcase their beauty, hygiene, and health.
Etiquette
This course will give them confidence in fine dining, identifying table settings, rules at the table, telephone, social, and communication etiquette will be taught. As first impression counts, it sets the tone for engagement with people the student will come across in life, it will help earn respect as it helps with how one behaves which reflects one’s personality. It helps to build strong relationships especially as the business is built on one.
